Utah's Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon are the best kept secrets in Ski Resorts Utah. Offering beautiful powder snow and exceptional ski conditions, the ski resorts of Solitude and Brighton in Big Cottonwood Canyon and Alta Ski Resort and Snowbird Ski Resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon are just minutes from The 1887 Hansen House. Deemed too environmentally fragile to host the 2002 Winter Olympics, the ski resorts of the Cottonwood Canyons have much smaller crowds than nearby Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain with the same luxurious skiing! Utah Skiing has been known to have some of the best snow in the Rockies, deemed “The Greatest Snow On Earth®”.
