Snowboarding is not allowed at Deer Valley Resort, which is an added bonus for skiers. Nearby Park City Mountain does allow snowboarding as do some of the Utah Ski Resorts of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon. Deer Valley Skiing is the perfect mountain for all levels of skiers with the terrain providing 27% beginner slopes, 41% intermediate slopes, 28% advanced slopes and 5% expert. Some of the most intense gladed, ungroomed areas of the Rocky Mountains are here at Deer Valley but skiers are asked to consult ski patrol before entering these areas. Adult day passes are $83 for the 2009 season and the slopes are open from 9:00 am to 4:15 pm.
