Park City Mountain
Park City Utah was the official venue for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Unlike Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain features skiing and snowboarding along with tubing, sledding, and a host of other activities. With over 360 inches of snow each year, Park City Mountain is a family friendly resort with something for every member of the family. Listed on SKI Magazine’s top 10 family resorts in North America, Park City Mountain offers more than 3,300 acres of terrain, 107 designated trails (17% Beginner Terrain, 51% Intermediate Terrain, 32% Advanced Terrain), 750 acres of bowl skiing and riding, and four terrain parks.

p_slopePark City Mountain professionally reinvented its ski and snowboard school and now offers group classes with one instructor for every three students. Classes include two, 75-minute ski instruction sessions each day. Students can use the magic carpet lift until they are ready for the beginner chair lift. Kids Mountain School has two programs specifically designed for children ages 6-14 and 3 ½-5 respectively. Students of the Park City Mountain Skiing School receive free lunch at one of the on-mountain Park City Restaurants and a 20% discount on rentals. In between instruction sessions, children enjoy indoor time in the Kids Mountain School craft room, reading room and jungle room. Adult private lessons are also available for all ski levels and abilities.

For the snowboarder, Park City Mountain features the largest superpipe in the country and terrain parks that professional athletes like Shaun White and Tanner Hall frequent. For five years in a row, Park City Mountain’s four terrain parks have been rated in the top 10 in the country by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine.
